Used Mercedes M254 petrol engines for sale from our Centurion yard, fitting 7 Mercedes chassis. The M254 is Mercedes-Benz's modular 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol with 48V EQ Boost mild hybrid integrated starter-generator. Introduced in 2020, it forms the basis of the modern FAME (Family of Modular Engines) architecture and replaces the M264 across the 200/300 petrol range. Shares its bore spacing with the M256 inline-6 to allow shared production lines. The 48V ISG system is the headline reliability concern.
